
The Hyde Park Jazz Festival, Reva and David Logan Center for the Arts, South Side Community Art Center, and University of Chicago Presents invite you to join us on February 14th and 15th as we showcase the connection between music and visual art that permeates Charles White’s artistic vision and the compositions and performance of Gerald Clayton. Please join us for this two-day celebration of Charles White and his ongoing legacy.
A performance of Gerald Clayton's original suite on Friday, February 14th, with a school matinee performance at 10:30 am and Jazz at Logan performance at 7:30 pm at the Logan Center for the Arts. The 7:30 pm performance will begin with opening remarks by Ian White, Charles White’s son and chief executive of The Charles White Archives.
